Trainer Gareth Van Zyl is going through a purple patch, and he can get bettors off to a winning start at Scottsville on Sunday when Sky Glitter, whose first two runs have been in Grade 3 and Grade 1 races respectively, contests a Maiden Plate for fillies and mares over 1000m.
The Trippi filly looks in a different division to her opposition and with Anton Marcus up, looks a stand-out bet.

RACE 7 QUARTET – DOUBLE FLOAT 8 VARVACIOUS AND 9 SWEET SYMPHONY WITH THE FIELD
This is an open race and it would come as no surprise to see a big outsider finish in the first four. To catch this bet Varvacious and Sweet Symphony must finish in the first four but it does not matter in what order and it also does not matter what else runs into the other two places.
The full cost of this bet is R864 but you can take a percentage, so 10% will cost R86.40.
