Actress and TV personality, Leandie du Randt, used the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown constructively and wrote a book in which she shares valuable life hacks with followers and fans, saying that you need to just walk into your own life and start living it.

With the help of Sandra du Toit from Penguin Random House, Gill Gordon and Randall Watson, Leandie’s book has been on Exclusive Books and Bargain Books’ shelves since 22 November, a few days ahead of the official book launch on 30 November, where the actress will be in conversation with Phyllis Green.

The self-designed cover and the subtitle, “You are #Blessed because you ARE”, is proof that she has lived a little.

“I share my rituals for my body, thoughts, soul and business based on all the questions I so often get on social media and in person,” she says.

In her book, she touches on subjects like how she stays in shape while eating out and drinking a glass of wine almost every evening, how she worked through her mother’s death, how she picked up the pieces after a divorce and how to start a business and juggle it among everything else.

“My book is focused on inspiring and motivating you to find your own hacks or then to apply mine in your own way that you can live the magic that only you can live.”

She writes that the biggest gift someone can give you is space to be who you are and to live the life you want to live.

Leandie’s My Life Hacks is available at Exclusive Books and Bargain Books, as well as in the form of an e-book or online through Takealot. She will also be selling signed copies through her company, To Be Gift Boxes, from 1 December.
