According to the DJ Awards website, the awards which are now in their 18th year “were created to recognise and celebrate the talents of the DJs. The DJ Awards focus on the celebration of the electronic dance music scene and seeks to let the world know that the art of DJing is a respected craft with a world-wide impact.

This annual event is the only international DJ awards ceremony to be held in Ibiza which becomes the dance music capital of the world.” DJ Award winners walk away with a trophy made out of a piece of green kryptonite – symbolising the mystery of life and the culture of night life. Black Coffee will be hosting a free concert at the Sappie Theatre Gardens to promote his new album Pieces Of Me today from 6pm.
