The popular TV personality wants to aid, transform and inspire the lives of young women in South Africa. Matheba took to social media recently to express how grateful she was to have a platform that permitted her to change people’s lives. Queen B revealed that she was currently paying university tuition fees for two young ladies and that she would be launching “Bonang Matheba Bursaries” soon.

“I work for an amazing radio station. A platform that allows me to change lives,” she captioned one of her Instagram pictures. “Xoli called into my show a while ago, begging me to pay for her tuition. A few weeks later, she’s registered for her course,” she explained.

Matheba further elaborated that she had dedicated 2016 to helping, changing and inspiring the lives of young women. “Thank you Xoli and Asanda for trusting me. Make me proud,” she encouraged the two girls whose tuition fees she was paying. Matheba also pointed out that her good deeds would not end with the two fortunate girls. “The Bonang Matheba Bursaries launch soon. I’m grateful for a blessed life. Let’s make a difference,” she wrote.

Matheba recently made headlines when she responded to Asanda’s desperate plea on Twitter. “I need R6 110 for my 2nd semester fees by end of July, i don’t have it can someone help,” Asanda wrote. To her shock and suprise, Matheba responded. “Hi. Please DM me your details,” Queen B replied to the tweet. “I’m on it,” Asanda responded.

Love her or not, Matheba keeps slaying, and helping others on her way up the entertainment ladder.

Keep it up Queen B!
