Watch: MamMkhize enters lavish birthday festivities riding on a camel

Over the top and grand parties are associated with businesswoman and media personality Shauwn “MamMkhize” Mkhize and her annual Thanksgiving party understood the assignment.
The Royal AM owner held a lavish party over the weekend to thank her family, ancestors and friends by holding a dinner party in conjunction with her birthday which was last week.
“To know where you are going, you must first know where you come from. My Thanksgiving Ceremony was a celebration to God and my ancestors…oKhabazela ba ka Mavovo.
“To everyone that made the time to celebrate with me, I thank you,” she captioned her Instagram post.
As festivities were underway, for her grand entrance, she arrived on a camel flanked by performers dressed in traditional Zulu attire.
Her esteemed guests such as Thembi Seete were dressed in their best traditional wear, as she booked out a venue to throw her party.
Her son Andile Mpisane and his wife Tamie Mpisane posted their birthday well wishes for MamMkhize, wishing her more wealth and good health.
MamMkhize also celebrated her team winning 3-2 over the weekend in the quarter-final against the University of Pretoria (Tuks) in the Nedbank Cup.
“My boys @royalam_fc you did me proud, showed a lot of character coming from 2-0 down to winning the game. What a dramatic comeback! Congratulations are in order for gatecrashing your way into the semis!” she wrote on Instagram.

In February, MamMkhize was one proud mother when her son Andile served as the opening act of The Street Tour in America.
The two were photographed with hip hop legends such as Rick Ross and Nelly as Andile formed part of a lineup that included 2Chainz, Gucci Mane, and Jeezy.
