Everything you need to know about Minnie Dlamini’s wedding doccie

The wedding is exactly a month away, and SA's media darling is gearing up to have a ceremony of her dreams.

Viewers will get to see Minnie Dlamini’s wedding to Quinton Jones on Vuzu Amp next month.

The wedding special will be broadcast on the DSTV channel, which appears on the premium bouquet.

The title of the show is Minnie Dlamini: Becoming Mrs Jones.

On her white dress, Minnie said it would be different from what she usually wears on red carpets.

“I cannot wait for my upcoming white wedding and to share it with South Africa. Without giving too much away, my wedding dress is something you have never seen me in,” Minnie told Sowetan.

Minnie has previously spoken about her relationship and how she had given up on getting married before meeting Quinton. She told her hubby-to-be that they should become life partners instead of getting married, as she was over the ideal of marriage.

“I was over the fairytale, I just wanted to be loved and love. But I knew that if I was ever going to get married, it would be with him,” she said.

Minnie held her umembeso, traditional wedding celebration at her parent’s home in July. She had 400 guests who dined on traditional food, including slaughtered cow, lamb, curry, tripe and steamed bread. Drum magazine reports that beer, vodka and french champagne flowed all day along and guests were offered five-star service, lacking nothing.
