PICS: Babalwa Mneno buys herself a Bentley
The model has made a serious come back after she was reportedly facing car repossession last year.

Supermodel and reality TV star Babalwa Mneno has bought herself a brand new Bentley.
She shared the news on her Instagram stories and reposted a series of snaps and videos from people who sent her congratulatory messages.
Babalwa is popularly known as a model, actress, and reality TV star. She was featured in the e.tv’s docu-reality series titled Reality Check back in 2013. She was also on season seven of Big Brother Africa.
In 2006, she participated in the popular reality competition, Strictly Come Dancing 2.
Babalwa’s car repossession
Last year, City Press reported that the model’s Range Rover was facing repossession after she failed to make payments for two years.
Standard Bank reportedly took the TV star to court, stating that she took a R1.5 million vehicle finance loan back in 2017, and was struggled to pay it back.
According to the publication, Babalwa was expected to make R20 035 monthly payments for her vehicle loan. She only paid until 2020.
“The defendant was required to remedy her breach of the agreement by making payment of the arrears and all overdue amounts under the agreement to the plaintiff,” the bank indicated in its submission to the court as quoted by the publication.

Human trafficking allegations
In 2020, Babalwa released a statement after she was accused of human trafficking. She said she had been advised by her lawyers to take legal action against those who were “tarnishing her name” with human trafficking claims.
“I have decided to write and categorically state that all these malicious, ridiculous allegations are unfounded and desperate,” she said.
This was not the first time she had to defend herself against the same allegations. In 2019, she went on Twitter and wrote:
“I’ve never pimped a fly! I’m not even scared to put you on blast and have your ghost hunt investigation on me! Witch hunt.
“The very same person that exposes these girls that try to dm me about wanting to be pimped or hooked up with rich men? Lol, if I was one of them, I would not do such boo! Imagine collecting money in return from selling a poor innocent girl to some man. Really? Shame you don’t know me.”
