The day sees people dress up to pay homage to their favourite movie characters, actors, singers, etc.

Mzansi celebs came through this year with creative and provocative costumes to celebrate Halloween.

Mihlali Ndamase

The multi-award-winning content creator and businesswoman channeled Poison Ivy, a fictional character in Batman stories.
“Captivated by her deadly charm? She’s called Poison Ivy,” Mihlali wrote, captioning her pictures.

Lerato Kganyago

The Metro FM presenter paid homage to the late American R&B superstar Aliyah. She wrote: “If Aaliyah & Left Eye had a baby.”

Uncle Waffle

Last year, Uncle Waffle channeled Beyonce with a pink mini skirt and blazer. The internationally renowned DJ took it up the notch this year and channeled Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber.

“Halloween is an excuse to dress up. So, I’m DEFINITELY DOING IT. Had to go as Mother Nicki and Baby Justin.”

DBN Gogo

Giving spooky vibes, DBN Gogo posted her Halloween outfit, quoting a line from Beyonce’s famous song, Sorry.

The rapper dressed up as one of the fictional characters in Disney’s popular adventure film Coco.

Mr JazziQ

To celebrate Halloween, Amapiano pioneer Mr JazziQ released a Halloween-inspired EP titled All You Need Is Piano II.

On Halloween day, he hosted a listening session of his new offering in Braamfontein. Speaking about why he chose the Halloween theme, he said: “We wanted to specifically release it around this time, as we believe that the Piano we make is inspired by Halloween.

“Moz is dark and mysterious, and we wanted to use this opportunity to highlight how different and full of suspense our sound is. I’m thrilled to release this new EP.”
