If ‘fairytale happy endings’ existed outside of children’s books and movies, television presenter and medical doctor Musa Mthombeni and his wife, radio and television presenter, Liesl Laurie would be the perfect example.
The couple who was married in August 2021 frequently find themselves the envy of social media users who dream about finding a love like theirs.
The power couple found themselves trending on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday after a post of Dr Musa commenting several times on a picture of his wife went viral.
While some social media users were in awe of their beautiful, loving relationship, others felt husbands only show public affection to their wives when they have done something wrong – and the way Dr Musa has been praising his wife has social media users speculating on what he is doing behind her back or behind closed doors.
“I sincerely wish Dr Musa and Liesl well but, to be honest, men who behave like Dr Musa publicly make me feel like they are compensating for something private. Looking at how much he does it makes me wonder how big that thing in private is. Anyways as you were kids,” posted X user, B. Jennings.
