Twitter lashes out at DJ Zinhle for being ‘spicy’

Euphonik's #NONKE T-shirt was not such a bad idea until DJ Zinhle bought it, according to Twitter.

For the first time, Ntombezinhle “DJ Zinhle” Jiyane finds herself on the wrong side of Twitter. She bought a Euphonik T-shirt with #NONKE emblazoned on the front and posted a picture of herself wearing it on Twitter with the caption: “Got my #Nonke T, now I’m kool kid”.

Twitter thinks it’s a sign that DJ Zinhle is “bitter”.

The T-shirt exists because Euphonik, Bonang Matheba’s ex-boyfriend, responded to tweets alleging that he wanted Matheba back by going on a Twitter rant, telling people that he was the one who in fact broke up with her and he didn’t want her back. He called her “the girl that’s f****ng AKA” and ended his rant by swearing at the people who claimed he was jealous.

When #NONKE trended for days after the rant, Euphonik came up with the idea of selling T-shirts with #NONKE in the front, which DJ Zinhle then bought.

Now Twitter is saying DJ Zinhle is being “petty”and encouraging others to buy the sartorial sour grapes. DJ Zinhle saw the tweets accusing her of buying the T-shirt because of Euphonik’s rant against Matheba and responded by tweeting:

The same Twitter was not against her buying Cassper Nyovest’s AG phone, something they could have said she did to get back at her baby daddy, AKA. Double standards, anyone?

Is Twitter blowing this out of proportion?
