Checkmate for Shraddha
Shraddha won five out of the seven rounds and drew the other two rounds.
Shraddha Agre, a learner from Ligbron Academy of Technology, took part in the South African Junior Chess Championships.
The championships took place from 3 to 8 January.
Shraddha won five out of the seven rounds and drew the other two rounds.
She was the best player on board 2 and received a trophy after her excellent achievement.
The school congratulated her.
