Have you ever woken up one day and had the urge to switch up your hairstyle but not really knowing what to do or how you would go about making that change?

Sometimes getting a makeover can be costly and heading to your hairdresser to change your hairstyle can be out of your budget.

If you are looking for a new look, consider trying out these two quick and easy tips to cutting your own bangs at home, which will give you the perfect results every time.

Cutting by faith

Caroline Silva has shared her hacks on how she frequently cuts her bangs with minimal effort and steps, based on the knowledge and skill she has acquired from cutting her own bangs in the past.

She starts of by separating her hair and getting a neat section of the front hair, which she will be cutting into bangs.

She then twists that section of her hair and cuts a piece of her hair with a pair of scissors.

She then uses her scissors to cut the long strands of her which are near her bangs, and then creates a cleaner and neater cut by cutting her bangs upwards.

Once she is done, she then uses a hot rolling comb to curl her bangs.

Curtain bangs

Zara Howey has shared a video on TikTok on how she cuts her own curtain bangs at home.

She starts off by sectioning her hair and picking out the section of hair she would like to cut into bangs. She then clips the rest of her hair behind her ears, to ensure that it’s out of her way and the scissors.

She then cuts the section of her hair at her chin length and then separates the hair into two parts.

Once she has separated her hair, she takes the hair on the left and pulls it towards the right side of her face, and then cuts the ends of that hair horizontally.

She repeats the same step for the hair that is on the right side of her head, to ensure that both sides of her bangs are even.

Once she is done, she then curls her bangs to create a cute curtain look.
