We are finally nearing the end of the work week and as tiring as work and responsibilities may be, preparing food and cooking a delicious meal for your family does not have to feel like a tedious chore.

Spending hours on end following recipes and cooking supper when you are exhausted from the busy day you have had is never ideal, and that is why we have chosen three super easy, quick and yummy cooking hacks which you should try before the week ends, which will ensure that your time in the kitchen is limited.

One pan egg sandwich

Breakfast has just gotten a whole lot easier with this quick and efficient cooking hack.

The Caught Snackin’ TikTok page has shared a video on how you can create an egg sandwich using one single pan to cook it and put it together.

In the video, the user is seen cracking two eggs into a pan, and then placing two slices of bread onto the eggs. Once the eggs start to cook at the bottom, he flips the eggs, as well as the slices of bread to ensure that the eggs cook on the opposite side.

While the other side cooks, he then adds all the different sandwich ingredients on top of one slice of bread which he would like to add to his egg sandwich. Once he is done, he then folds the sides of the cooked egg on the bread, and then folds the two slices of bread to create a sandwich.

Three-ingredient chocolate mug cake

Cake cravings always hit you at the most random times. Going out to buy an entire cake to feed your cravings sometimes seems ridiculous, and baking a cake from scratch seems like too much of an effort.

This cool chocolate mug cake only makes use of three ingredients and can be baked using the microwave.

The Dished TikTok account has shared their recipe on a quick and easy three-ingredient chocolate mug cake. In the video the user cracks one egg into a mug and then makes use of a fork to beat the egg.

The user then adds two tablespoons of cocoa powder, and then a quarter cup of powder icing sugar.

They then mix all of the ingredients well, and then place the mug in the microwave for about a minute.

The result is a moist, hot chocolate mug cake which can be enjoyed with a scoop of your favourite ice cream.
