Recipe: Holiday spice punch

As the ice melts, this strong sipper mellows a bit and gets better as the evening wears on.


Ingredients

2 cups rye whisky
2 cups Drambuie liqueur
1½ cups lemon juice
Lemon slices spiked with whole cloves for garnish

Method

1. Mix rye, Drambuie and lemon juice in a punch bowl or large pitcher.

2. Garnish with clove-spiked lemon slices, if desired.
