Christmas comes early for two lucky winners of R64.4 million PowerBall jackpot

While some South Africans are battling year-end fatigue, two will be singing ‘Ke Dezemba Boss‘ in October after winning Tuesday’s PowerBall jackpot.
According to Ithuba, the jackpot prize of R64.460,746.18 was won by two lucky players who purchased their tickets from different platforms.
One ticket was sold via the Absa platform, while the other was purchased from the FNB platform.

The winners, yet to claim their millions, are urged to contact the National Lottery Helpline for guidance on claiming their prizes.

Tuesday was also a lucky day for two Daily Lotto players: one who bought their ticket in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal and the other, who bought their ticket via the FNB app.
The players won R252,018 each.
All players who win more than R50,000 receive free financial and trauma counselling. All winnings are tax-free.
Players must be 18 years and older.
