Snow White comes to life at Dinkyland
The stage came alive with the sound of music....
NELSPRUIT – The toddlers at Dinkyland Pre-school hosted their annual play last week at the Mbombela Civic Theater. Children from as young 1 year old all donned their colourful outfits and graced the otherwise dull theater stage. There were bees, frogs, catapillars and butterflies all fluttering around a delightfully pretty Snow White, portrayed by Lily Britz, who wandered off into the forest after a huntsman warned of a terrible plot to end her life.
The moms, dads, grandparents and siblings of the little actors were entertained for more than an hour as Dinkyland’s version of the famed tale unfolded one section at a time. The costumes were professionally made and the songs and progression of the show expertly handled by the staff. At the interval all those in attendence were treated to refreshments and a free boereworsroll to end off a very entertaining evening.
