5-6-7-8 It’s Showtime
There was an abundance of tulle, glitter and giggles backstage last week as young and older dancers from two popular dance studios got ready to take to the stage to perform in front of a packed audience of family and friends at the Nelspruit Civic Theatre.
Sonelca Loxton, from Feel the Beat Dance Studio, and Isabel, from Isabel van Veenhuyzen Dance Studio, waited anxiously in the wings; calling out instructions for the little ones who got a bit lost in the glare of the spotlights.
This was an opportunity for the dancers to show their parents how well their dancing was coming along under the tutorage of their dance teachers. Sitting in the wings with an anxious Sonelca, it was lovely to see the polished dance routines executed with huge enthusiasm.
