Club champion for the fourth time in a row
Rikus Nel was crowned the club champ for the fourth consecutive year. Michael Nkosi was second with Wonder Magagula third.
The Barberton Golf Club Championship was held on Saturday with 35 golfers participating. The first players teed off at just after 06:30.
After a long day on the greens, it was time for the prize-giving and the customary socialising at the club house.
Club captain, Hannes Boshoff crowned Rikus Nel the 2016 club champ for the fourth consecutive year. Michael Nkosi was second with Wonder Magagula third.
The rest of the results were as follows:
• Nearest to pin 9 & 18 – Koos Jonker
• Best nett – David Chikwana – 153 points
• Second best nett – Dumies Gama – 153 points
• Longest day – Blackie Swart – 53 points
• Winner B Division – Thomas Maseko – 72 points.
