Video: Mighty lion roaring for tourists

This is just a short video of a Lion roaring while lying on the road on a night drive safari in Kruger National Park. Great Kruger Sighting for tourists. Video courtesy of Kruger National Park's YouTube channel

“We spotted this lion on a night drive with Jock Safari Lodge. We got the lion walking on the road not far from the concession entrance and followed him a few minutes.

We could hear in front of us other lions calling. Then this boy decided to lie down a bit and call. The car was shaking from the roar. Amazing sighting!”

Why this video is important to the videographer:

I was with the love of my life during this drive. We hadn’t seen each other in 2 years. We decided to see each other again and chose the bush as our getaway.

The bush has always been our bubble and it was her birthday!!!

In 2 days, the bush gave us every thing : lion, leopard, wild dogs versus hyenas, civet, owls, rhinos, elephants and more. It was magic and the magic worked on us.” – Video by Ghis & Nois

Usually Kruger National Park Lions mating rituals, which, when averaged out, has them mating every 15 minutes for up to 5 days. This means that if they last a full 5 days, they can mate more than 250 times.

The term ‘Lions fighting to death’ or even ‘Lions Hunting’ does not apply to this Lion roaring video.
