GALLERY: Little ones brave their first day of school
The nests are empty but the schools are filled with the beautiful smiles and non-stop chatter of the grade one learners.
MBOMBELA – St Peter’s School’s grade one enrichment classes welcomed the future leaders who took one of the most important steps of their lives this morning.
These little ones settled in quite quickly and got comfortable at their assigned desks to colour in in their books. The young learners in these classes did not seem to be missing their parents, and instead were excited and caught up just fine.
They were indisputably ready to ace their first day. Their lunch boxes were packed with all their favourites, from sandwiches and yogurts, chips and biscuits, to juice and fruit.
