A 46-year-old prosecutor stationed at the Morebeng Magistrates Court was arrested at his workplace on Monday, 19 November, for corruption, fraud and defeating the ends of justice, Polokwane Review reports.

Provincial Hawks Spokesperson, Captain Matimba Maluleke says the complainant alleged that he was arrested for possession of suspected stolen property and the prosecutor demanded R2000 bribe in order to squash the docket.
