Drivers losing control

According to eyewitnesses, the driver went into a mad rage and started kicking at the door of the car.

BARBERTON – On Sunday evening, approximately half an hour after a Volkswagen Golf ended up in the window of Sheet Street, the driver of this BMW lost control and smashed into the wall of a private residence in General Street.

The residents were highly upset while they tried to close up the hole left in the wall. Their one dog which was very nervous at the time, was running around on the adjacent property, and had to be caught and takIMG_0108 (Mobile)en inside the house.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver went into a mad rage and started kicking at the door of the car. At the time the reporter left it was decided that blood tests would be done on him at Barberton Provincial Hospital.

On Monday just before 16:00, there was an accident on the Nelspruit Road with amazingly no fatalities.

According to the driver of the Ford, who was travelling towards Barberton with her passenger, she indicated to turn right when a Quantum minibus smashed into the back of her car. Luckily, no one sustained serious injuries, but 15 people were treated by Barberton EMS of whom 11 were transported by ambulance to the provincial hospital.
