Avoiding accident leads to head-on
A head-on collision has left one person seriously injured and two others with minor injuries.
MALALANE – A head-on collision has left one person seriously injured and two others with minor injuries.
Eyewitnesses pointed out that the response time of the emergency services, especially the ambulance that of the ambulance, was almost an hour and a half. The injured were rushed to Shongwe Hospital.

“I slammed on the brakes to give the truck space to return into its lane again in an effort to avoid a collision. The bakkie behind me then hit my vehicle on its right side of and then collided with an oncoming Ford bakkie,” Mawelela explained.
Police spokesman Const Bheki Nkosi, stressed the importance of keeping a safe following distance.
The current road construction is congesting traffic flow and road users are reminded to stay calm and keep a safe following distance,” said Nkosi.
