Hotel Numbi hosted the first Hazyview Wine show on Sunday, October 20. Wines from 15 estates were on show and offered their wines for tasting, much to the delight of visitors. The wine show was also held in aid of Care for Wild Africa, a wildlife rehabilitation project which specialises in Rhino care.
The wine farms which were represented at the show were Arabella, Backsberg, Callafield, Boland, Boplaas, Niel Joubert, Overhex, Raka, Rhebokskloof, Rickety Bridge, Solms-Delta, Stellenbosch Vineyards, Beau Belle, Avontuur Estate, Bonnievale, Welbedacht, and La Couronne.
Wine on wheels which is owned by Neil and Kim Liston, organised the event. “We will definitely be back next year,” says Kim. ”This has been a roaring success!”
