BURGERSFORT – Joshua Doore afforded a local man an opportunity to drive away in a brand-new Toyota Etios hatch-back.
Advisor Gwaza had never owned wheels before, but Christmas came early for this man from Steelpoort when he was chosen as the winner in Joshua Doore’s Club competition. The car was presented to a delighted Gwaza on November 28. He sang, danced and ululated upon the receipt of his new present.
He is a member of Joshua Doore’s Club and has been buying his furniture from the store for many years. The winner was chosen from thousands of Joshua Doore’s Club members. The draw for the car was conducted at the store and Gwaza’s name was drawn by store manager William Claassens.
An elated Gwaza told Steelburger/Lydenburg News that the car was the best thing to have happened in his life. “I will drive it responsibly, treasure it and cherish it for next coming years, I thank the great God for this present,” he said.
Claassens urged customers to join the Joshua Doore Club, “there are monthly lucky draws, booklets and various benefits.
