LEBOWAKGOMO – Limpopo police have launched a manhunt for Tshediso Isaac Mabooa following the brutal shooting of two girls aged eight and 10 last Wednesday at Ga-Cheune.
It is alleged that the suspect took his three children from their grandmother’s house to his wife’s workplace. He left them outside as he wanted to talk to his wife. Seemingly he could not talk to her as she was busy and apparently went back outside. Without saying anything he fired two shots, killing one of his daughters while the other one fled.
He then took his two-year-old son and went back to his in-laws’ home and along the way he gave away his youngest to a stranger.
On arrival at his in-laws he met the eight-year-old child and shot her twice at close range. The motive of this senseless killing is unknown. He has since been on the run and a police manhunt is underway. The suspect is armed and considered extremely dangerous and anyone outside of law enforcement should not approach him.
Anybody with information on the suspect’s whereabouts should contact Capt Makola Mojapelo at 082-414-2698 or the nearest police station.
