Authorities refuse to give up on crime

We will continue to work with other authorities to solve crime in our area and we will not allow criminals to get the upper hand.

Bossies Community Justice (BCJ), along with Hi-Tech Security Nelspruit, the SAPS and Phoenix Flying Squad refuse to allow crime to create fear among residents.
Numerous arrests were made last week.
BCJ apprehended a suspect in the early hours of Wednesday for the theft of 80 litres of diesel belonging to a companies’ transport truck. The accused was handed over to the police where a case of theft is currently being investigated.
Two alleged robbers were nabbed by BCJ and the SAPS Drug Task Team in Anderson Street on Thursday in connection with the theft of a cellphone.
After receiving a tip-off from the victim on the suspects’ whereabouts, they were able to apprehend the thugs.
Their vehicle was impounded by the police as it had also been allegedly used in the commission of the said crime.
BCJ along with Hi-Tech, the flying squad and the SAPS all embarked on a special operation in the fight against crime on
April 3 and 4.
It started on Thursday around 22:00, and continued until Friday at 05:00. A total of 25 arrests were made by officials where five stolen bank cards were recovered, three arrests for possession of dagga were made, one for driving under the influence of alcohol and three vehicles were impounded. One of the cars was allegedly implicated in theft out of motor vehicles around West Acres.
According to
Mr Jacques Meiring of BCJ, said it was very effective when officials worked together. “We will continue to work with other authorities to solve crime in our area and we will not allow criminals to get the upper hand.”
