Workers make do with few resources

He later responded and said, "I am having difficulty getting hold of the officer responsible for roads.

MALALANE – Earlier this month Corridor Gazette reported on the pothole crisis that had hit the town and surrounds.

The municipality’s spokesman, Mr Cyril Ripinga was at first not sure who was attempting the repairs.

He later informed the publication that the correct material had been ordered and municipal workers had taken it upon themselves to do something with what they had on hand.

This week the paper again insisted on knowing when the ordered materials would arrive, but Ripinga did not have the updated information.

However, he later responded and said, “I am having difficulty getting hold of the officer responsible for roads. I have left him a message and as soon as he replies, I will forward the dates to you.”

Nkomazi residents will have to be satisfied with the current state of affairs until the materials are received.
