MAPUTO – A 15 year old boy has been kidnapped just outside the American International school. AIM reported that the child had been kidnapped while he was walking to school on Tuesday morning.
By that afternoon, the school had apparently sent an email to the parents warning them about the incident. Media also reported that the American Embassy was assisting in the investigation.
The student had been identified as not being part of the diplomatic community but the embassy was still assisting the parents in the rescue of their child.
The police had not released an official statement as yet.
