Three suspects driving a blue Polo Vivo sedan were arrested by Bossies Community Justice (BCJ) and Hi-Tech Security Nelspruit yesterday, but were released shortly after.
They allegedly tried to steal a laptop out of a white Ford Bantam at the Grove shopping centre, but got a fright when someone noticed them.
BCJ and Hi-tech were alerted and gave chase. After arresting the suspects they were taken to the police station, but the victim decided not to lay charges as he didn’t suffer any damage. Mr Jacques Meiring of BCJ, believed that they were linked with other car break-ins in the city. He advised the community to be on the lookout for the blue Polo.
