MBOMBELA – The mystery regarding how 112 rhino horns were stolen out the offices of the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA), is slowly unfolding in court.

Mr Sizwe Leonard Malatjie (34), Mr Selby Khoza (39), Mr Gideon Mtshali (51) and Mr Veli Williams Zwane (43) appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate Court for their bail hearing on Friday.

State Advocate Ms Ansie Venter stated that Malatjie and Khoza had had a meeting while both worked together as police informants.

112 horns, weighing more than 80kg, were stolen from a strong-room at the MTPA’s offices on April 20 .
