MBOMBELA – The trial of a 29 year-old father from White River, who is accused of raping his nine-year-old daughter, began this week.
The father has been in custody since his arrest in April 2013, after his wife allegedly caught him in the act of raping his daughter.
The accused appeared in the sexual offences court on Thursday in front of Magistrate Mr Willie Wilkens.

The man was arrested on April 13. He was allegedly caught by his wife in the garden apparently forcing his daughter to perform oral sex on him after which he raped her.
The wife contacted police officials who arrested him. He is facing charges of rape, intimidation and defeating the administration of justice.
