A video recently published by ZA NEWS that features a puppet Public Protector Thuli Madonsela, singing Miley Cyrus’ song titled Wrecking Ball, is currently making the rounds on social media.
This parody video is in response to the recent unrelenting comments made by Gwede Mantashe about the Public Protector after she put heat on the the president to respond to the Nkandla report.
The ANC secretary general was quoted saying:
“We don’t want to remove the Public Protector, we want her to do her work properly and behave correctly,” Mantashe told reporters in Johannesburg, on Tuesday, August 26.
