MBOMBELA – Five suspects charged with kidnapping a day-old baby from Rob Ferreira Hospital have applied for bail in the Mbombela Magistrate’s Court.
It was reported in yesterday’s edition of Lowvelder that the five accused, of whom two are Mozambican citizens, were arrested a week after the disappearance of the baby.
The suspects have been in custody since their arrest and will remain in custody pending the outcome of their bail application, which has been postponed to Monday, September 22 pending further investigation.
