Sizakalani Cash Loans robbers released on bail
The three suspects have since been released on bail.

MALALANE – On Monday, 29 September the three suspected cash loan robbers appeared before court. The trial was again postponed to October 29.
On Friday, July 11 the employees of Sizakalani Cash Loans in Station Street were held at gun point and the robbers fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The three suspects, Mr Mzamani Baloyi (40), Mr Sifiso Nklema (26) and Mr Nomsa Qotwane (51), have since been released on bail.
Shortly after the burglary the local SAPS informed Malalane Against Crime (MAC) of an orange Polo which was identified as the getaway car by waitresses at a restaurant next to the business. MAC then swiftly informed the public and gave a detailed description of the vehicle via SMSes.
During the search in and around town, the police received a tip-off from residents in Hectorspruit that a vehicle matching the description was heading to Komatipoort at high speed.
“Farmers found the Polo on the Strydomblock Road with flat tyres, but the suspects were nowhere to be seen,” said Const Bheki Nkosi, spokesman for the police.
Another suspect vehicle, a Renault Sandero, was then stopped on a farm in Komatipoort and its occupants allegedly fled into an orchard. Two of them were apprehended. “On Monday July 14, the third suspect, allegedly an employee of the business, was also arrested and appeared in court with the two others.”
