Pay your traffic fine the easy way – ‘Nyamsoro’ is watching
Paying your traffic fine is easier than you think.
MBOMBELA – The Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison welcomed the launch of the automated number-plate recognition system in Mpumalanga on Friday. This system will assist the department in tracking down offenders as well as detecting those who do not pay their traffic fines, according to Mr Vusi Shongwe, MEC for the department.
Those who throw a blind eye to their traffic fines, will now be prosecuted with more vigour with the aid of the automated number-plate recognition system, also known as the ‘Nyamsoro’. If you have received a traffic fina, be sure to pay it promptly.
Payment can be made manually at the offices of the Traffic Department which are located in the Old Mutual building in the Mbombela CBD.
Online payments may also be made – www.paycity.co.za and www.paymyfines.co.za are two websites through which payments can be made. The Arrive Alove website has even partnered with Pocit – a mobile payment system – enabling payments of traffic fines to be made via mobile phones. Visit www.Pocit.mobi to access this mobile service.
