Her husband, Tyron Bodenstein, was transported to hospital for further treatment of his injuries.
Close friends shared words of comfort and condolences with the Schultz family through Lowvelder.

Among them were Clint and Mariette Vosloo, who said Schultz’s passing is a great loss to the community.

“We are in shock and cannot understand the ordeal. It is hard to accept. We are honoured to have known her. She was loved deeply by the motorcycling and general communities,” they said.
The Vosloos described Schultz as a friendly and bubbly person who always showed up to help however she could, often with her husband in tow.

Another close friend, Solange Soares, said: “She was my kind, caring and supportive friend. This doesn’t feel fair and it doesn’t make sense. I’m going to miss her morning messages, her wisdom, her beautiful smile and loving hugs. She was such a light in my life, and I’ll carry her with me always.”
Lowvelder reported earlier that the section of the road where the accident occurred was closed for recovery. It has since been cleared and reopened.
