Doctor Zama Mathebula (37) was accused of murdering his girlfriend, Selma Dilibu, after he allegedly stabbed her to death in 2013.
Mathebula, his girlfriend and her six year old son went for a walk in Hazyview on June 16 2013, when it is said that he took out his knife and killed her.
The accused appeared before Judge Peter Mabuse yesterday, during which appearence he plead guilty to the charge of murder as set out in section 51(1) and (2) of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.
