Thaba Moshate to create job opportunities to people of Tubatse

BURGERSFORT – The Thaba Moshate Hotel Casino and Convention Resort’s intensive construction programme is on schedule to meet the grand opening date of early 2015.
The economy of Burgersfort will be strengthened by the Peermont Group’s investment of R325 million. The name Thaba Moshate derives from sePedi and means palace or castle on a mountain. The resort will play a role in job creation – an estimated 180 positions will be available for local citizens. Employees will receive training to enhance their skills, on a sustainable matter.
According to Julie van Wyk, group PRO of Peermont, the project will include a hotel with a swimming pool, gym, small conference centre, breakaway room and tent platform. The 160-seater restaurant will have a show bar that will provide the resort’s live entertainment. Situated in the casino area of the resort will be 150 slots, eight gambling tables, a deli, Salon Privé, walk-up bar and promotional area.
Additional facilities include a retail shop, video/game arcade and a children’s playroom.
The resort can be found between the R37 from Burgersfort to Polokwane and the R555 to Steelpoort, where the main entrance will be.
