MBOMBELA – A 23 year old mother appeared before court last week on charges of neglect, child abuse and murder after she allegedly killed her own child in October 2010.
Ms Mawande Nokwanda Matsebula reported the death of three year old Siphosethu Mhlanga with the police after he died on October 6 2010. Further investigtion by the Barberton SAPD lead to the arrest of Matsebula shortly thereafter.
Witness’ testimonies were brought before court on Thursday in support of the state’s case. The verdict and sentencing will be passed on November 10.
