Eskom load shedding schedule: keep your power use to a minimum

Please note that Eskom is currently load shedding in stage 2 in some areas due to high demand or urgent maintenance being performed at certain power stations.

MBOMBELA – It appears that some areas have been affected by load shedding.

Please note that Eskom is currently load shedding in stage 2 in some areas due to high demand or urgent maintenance being performed at certain power stations.  According to Eskom, Stage 2 means load shedding will take place for two hours every day. Stage 1 means load shedding will be applied for two hours every other (or every second) day.

Consumers have been urged to switch off all non-essential appliances, and to only leave one light on, as well as your television.

Below is the planned load shedding schedule for Mbombela from the period: November 22 to December 20.
