Fourteen detectives received new vehicles

"We hope that these vehicles will help prevent crime, especially in the festive season,"

MBOMBELA – A total of 14 police detectives received brand-new vehicles at the provincial police head offices on December 5. A press briefing, scheduled to take place at 10:00, left various media houses waiting for the acting provincial commissioner, Maj Gen Meshack Mogwanya, for more than two hours. When the briefing eventually started, the cars were handed over to the detectives.

According to Brig Selvy Mohlala, police spokesman, these vehicles, the Nissan mp300 and the Kia Sedan, will go to different parts of the province. “We hope that these vehicles will help prevent crime, especially in the festive season,” said Mohlala.

The detectives celebrated for the rest of the day and were proud to drive off in their new cars.
