Titan the Robot is in town and he will entertain
Titan is visiting I'langa Mall today. Catch him performing at 14:00 this afternoon.
MBOMBELA – Entertainment often comes in various shapes and sizes but it is guaranteed that Lowvelders have never experienced the sight of a giant robot singing and dancing to the masses in a shopping mall.
I’langa Mall will host the world famous Titan the Robot on Wednesday, December 17 as he helps to create awareness for the physically disabled while continuing to entertain locals with his massive stage presence on his tour of South Africa.
This will be a show for a worthy cause as Titan’s giant feet will give new meaning to walking a mile in another man’s shoes. This is all part of I’langa Mall’s focus on the Association for the Physically Disabled during November and December this year.
Show times will be at 09:00, 11:00 and 14:00 at the Eye Court. Each show is 30 minutes long with the main aim of entertaining the public and creating awareness for the physically disabled. The last show of the day will take place at 16:00, and will be in the form of a private meet-and-greet for five members of the public, as well as five disabled people.
“One of our directors saw Titan’s shows in the United Kingdom and decided to book him for malls across South Africa,” stated Ms Sandi Human, general manager at I’langa Mall.
Titan has so far only had praise for the warm welcome he has received in South Africa.
On Facebook he posted, “Epic crowds in South Africa! Best shows I have ever done!”
Mr Hanlie Lombaard, marketing manager of I’langa Mall was also at The Grove shopping centre this past Friday to get a sneak preview of Titan strutting his stuff.
The live performances always attract massive crowds as they watch in awe as the two-metre tall robot can blow the roof off any building with his charismatic personality and his dancing and singing skills.
Titan has also appeared in on a number of television shows and at international events and has worked alongside a host of celebrities such as Rihanna, Will. i. am and Will Smith.
Titan also felt the need for speed when he made an appearance at the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix in 2011.
He is also a truly global phenomenon having performed in more than 20 countries such as Germany, Saudi Arabia and Australia to mention but a few.
Be prepared to witness an entertainment experience like never before when Titan comes to town.
