Mototolo’s soccer teams play for a good cause

The aim was to educate and increase the spirit of team building within the company.

Mototolo Football Club held a sport against crime, HIV/Aids and abuse match on Saturday at the Rooikat Park sport ground.

The aim was to educate and increase the spirit of team building within the company. Two teams from Mototolo Platinum Mine, the shaft team and JV concentrator played against each other.

In the first few minutes of the game, both proved to be eager to win the trophy.

From there the next 20 minutes belonged to the shaft team, but then the game took a surprising turn when JV concentrator scored three goals.

The third goal, however, was denied. In the last minutes JV concentrator continued to gain momentum and by the end of the tournament, they had scored six goals and the shaft team managed only to score once.

It was a tough game for the shaft guys, although both teams had fun.
