Due to breakdowns at the Raw Water Pump Station last week, several reservoirs could not be fully filled. The superintendant of Hazyview’s Water and Sanitation Operation and Management says that one pump was fixed yesterday and hopes that the affected reservoirs will be filled by the end of the week.
The current water levels of reservoirs in Hazyview are:
- Main Reservoirs: 70%
- High Pressure Tower Reservoir: 90%.
- Umbhaba Reservoir: 45%.
- Steel Tank Reservoir: 45%
- Numbi Park Bottom Reservoir: 90%.
- Numbi Park Top Reservoir: 85%.
Despite the relatively stable water levels, residents are urged to continue using water sparingly.
