Repairs back on track in Viljoen Street
Motorists and residents have complained about the condition of the roads for some time and construction has finally started again.
LYDENBURG – Residents and motorists using Viljoen and Voortrekker streets will be relieved to know that the storm-water drainage hole at the instersection, has been closed.
The project to repair the area started late last year, but stagnated for nearly a month. Allegedly the hole was formed by heavy vehicles turning from Viljoen Street into Voortrekker.
Motorists and residents have complained about the condition of the roads for some time and construction has finally started again.
On Tuesday afternoon a Barko employee was seen working at the intersection and a tractor with the company logo was parked at the side to the road.
