The past few months have featured a number of strange news articles, which have been brought to mind by the weekend's freak accidents.
MBOMBELA – The weekend’s freak accidents reminded us of a few news reports that have featured on our site in the past few months.
In November, the driver of a Citybug absconded the shuttle that he was driving. The passengers caught another lift to their destination. In December 2013, a Citybug shuttle took off on its own and went through a wall.
Just before Christmas, a man fell through the ceiling of Crossings SUPERSPAR during an alleged break-in. He was charged with theft and his case will be in court again in two weeks.
On Friday, a truck ploughed through GumTreez pub n grill in White River.
Saturday’s incident where a BMW X6 caught fire had many motorists staring out of their windows on the R40. The incident occurred opposite Riverside Standard Bank.
