Suspects sought for house robbery

TONGA – Police are looking for two unidentified male suspects liable for a house robbery.

On Sunday at approximately 04:10, a 38 year old female from Hhoyi Trust was robbed by the suspects.

The victim alleged that she was at her residence asleep when she was awakened by two unknown African male who broke the door open and gained entry.

One of the suspects pointed her with a firearm and the other threatened her with a knife and demanded money.

They took a laptop, a tablet cellphone, and an undisclosed amount.

She also alleged that they also demanded her bank cards and the correct pin and she gave them then they fled the scene on foot.

Police are investigating and are appealing to the community to help with information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects.
