Gear-up for more load shedding
Eskom intends on imposing eight hours of load shedding per day, every day of the week.

MALALANE – With the news that Nkomazi Local Municipality is one of the remaining 55 defaulting, consistently under-performing municipalities in the country, residents of Nkomazi are gearing themselves for another onslaught with regards to Eskom’s decision to impose eight hours of load shedding per day, every day of the week, on those municipalities who are defaulting on payments.
However, local municipality is not among the top 20 defaulting Eskom municipality, although it is losing its Treasury grants. This means that the worst case scenario be not be applicable to Nkomazi, but residents are however urged to make provision for continued load shedding as per the latest Eskom schedules.
