Load-shedding schedule April 15

Eskom has announced that it is implementing Stage 2 load-shedding today.

If you live in the Paarlklip section (Ingwenyama, Waterberry Country Estates, smallholdings next to R40) you would have woken up to a strange silence in the house. That’s because load-shedding has been implemented in this section since 06:00 and is set to continue until 08:30.

Residents of White River town, the estates, Rocky Drift and Hillsview will experience load-shedding between 16:00 and 18:30.

These seem to be the regular time slots for these areas on Mondays to Wednesdays and residents are urged to keep these times in mind when load-shedding is announced.

According to a load-shedding schedule site the Paarlklip section can expect load-shedding between 12:00 and 14:30 on Thursdays (stage 1 to 3) and Fridays (stage 2 and 3) and from 16:00 to 18:30 on Saturdays and Sundays (stage 2 and 3).

White River and Rocky Drift residents can experience load-shedding tomorrow at 06:00 to 08:30 (stage 2) or 12:00 to 14:30 (stage 3), Friday at 06:00 to 08:30 (stage 1) and 12:00 to 14:30 (stage 3) and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 12:30 (stage 2).

Time slots can, however, change due to increased pressure on the grid and residents should keep an eye out for power alerts or visit https://loadshedding.eskom.co.za/ for more information on load-shedding.
